Daphne Richman Poleg (2003) an Israeli cellist based in Tel Aviv. A graduate of Thelma Yellin School of art, The Israeli Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv, The Jerusalem Music Centre which included, The excellence program "Huberman", the "Goldman" chamber program and the Young Israeli philharmonic orchestra. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University, where she studied with Prof. Hillel Zori.

Winner of the Golden Baton Soloist Competition and played in concerts the Saint-Saëns Cello Concerto No. 1 with the Israel Sinfonietta Be'er Sheva (2025), First Prize at the Paul Ben-Haim Competition (2020), First Prize at the Israel Conservatory of Music Competition (2015, 2019), and winner of the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music String Competition (2024). In 2023, she was selected by audition to perform as a soloist in a project led by Kati Debretzeni. A scholarship recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation (AICF), with special distinction (2019–2026). Receiver of certificate for outstanding achievement - the BMSM symphony (2024)

Performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician in live broadcasts on “Kol HaMusica.” As a chamber musician, she is a Part of the Chamber Series in the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. She played with artists such as Sergey Ostrovsky, Noémie Bialobroda, Boris Brovtsyn, Chen Halevi and Hillel Zori.

Daphne has served as Principal Cello of the Buchmann-Mehta Symphony Orchestra (2022–2025), the Young Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra (2019–2021), and the Thelma Yellin Symphony Orchestra (2019-2022) under the baton of conductors such as Lahav Shani, Zubin Mehta and Karl-Heinz Steffens. She has also taken part in projects with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra.

She participated in the "Geneva International String Academy" (2024), Keshet Eilon Summer Mastercourse (2023–2024), and the AIMS Festival (2015–2022).

She participated in masterclasses with Prof. Peter Bruns, Prof. Danjulo Ishizaka, Prof. Leonid Gorokhov, prof. Claudio Bohórquez, Prof. Gary Hoffman, Prof. Frans Helmerson, Prof Hans Jürgen Jensen, Prof. Jens Peter Maintz and Prof Yitzhak Perlman.
